B2410
B2410 delivered last monday and I finally had time this sunday to get 3 1/2 hrs seat time. I have to say this machine is totaly, completely, utterly, positivly the greatest thing since sliced bread! It is more than I expected in evey manner. The FEL is great and the Land Pride rake is heavy duty all the way. Pleanty of power in 4 wheel drive. HSD is a dream. The only thing I need to do is get some weight on the bar turf tires as they loose tracktion before the machine will bog down. Any body have any tips on wheel weights versus tire ballist?. I highly recomend this unit. It's no toy and all buissness!!! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Congrats on the new B2410! Here is a pic of my 2410 spreading gravel around my new water well. Sometimes I like the BX best and other times the 2410, she loves me, she loves me not. In this pic I am liking the 2410 best /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif .
Notice how shiney and happy my 2410 is, also notice the R4 tires and the Kubota 7548 boxblade. The FEL spread the gravel but it was the boxblade that made it nice and smooth afterwards. J

Here the loader is about half full, in about 20 minutes I had spread about 8 tons of gravel and this is this last little bit I saved for a pot hole in my road.
Don't look like no toy to me either. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif J

I would have been crawling the walls if I had to wait that long before I got seat time on a new tractor that was just setting there and waiting /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

By the sounds 3 1/2 just wasn't enough seat time, better call in to work and say you got a fever..seat fever..and than enjoy yourself once again. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Frank do you use ballist or tire weights on your machine? If so do they make a real differance in traction.

i have neither filled tires or wheel weight, when i need weight i usually have the back blade on. a few times when i did not have blade on and was moving dirt, i would have like a little extraweight, but not many times.i move a lot of snow, and dirt and do some brush clearing and tree moving and the only time i really run out of traction is trying to move or pull stumps. see attached pic for an idea of some of the snow i move with no problem.

I'm on the fence regarding buying a B7500 or a B2410. Do any of you guys have experience with both? Not sure if it's worth the extra $2,000.

Dave,
Ask this question as a seperate post, and you should get many replies. I own a B-7500 and am very pleased, the major differences position control and 3 extra horses. $2000 difference will depend on chores you want to accomplish.
Good Luck both are fine machines you really can't go wrong.
