B2410 Ordered

Thought I would take the liberty of posting to the "Kubota Owning" forum since I am now official an owner. Just purchased a new B2410 which will hopefully be delivered within two weeks. For those who like the details, I got the LA352 FEL, the 60" mid-mount mower, and turf tires. Got the dealer to "throw in" a pair of ROPS work lights and the labor for the 50 hour maintenance. Won't bother saying what I paid for it since it is in Canadian dollars which isn't really relevant to too many of you /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

I have a 5' rear blade already, and hope to add a rototiller and perhaps a box blade this spring. Also hoping to build one of those great 3 PTH concrete weights since I did not get loaded tires.

Thanks to all of you who participate in this site. I find most of it very informative and will look forward to gleaning more tips as I go.

I would be interested in knowing the dollar differents between Canada&US.

Congratulations, Kevin. Good move in getting the lights and maintenance thrown in. Now for the really hard part, the anxious waiting, the daydreaming on what you projects you will do /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif! Who knows, maybe it will be a surprise delivery, and you'll get it earlier. (Not always a good thing though. My tractor came in earlier than anticipated. My pager went off on a Monday while I was running meetings in Denver all week. They wanted to know if I could accept the tractor that week, and I was 1,500 miles from home /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif)

Congratulations!! That's really great. A wise decision on the lights; I have been out "too late" already about three times (and I still have less than 20 hours)/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. I could have really used the extra light.

Hi Thomas,

I'll take a shot at the Canadian dollar versus US dollar price difference. The total price for me including our Federal sales tax (7%) was approx $23,500 Canadian. According to the Bank of Canada posted exchange rate for today (Can to US) the rate is 0.6382. In other words, just taking the converted value the tractor package would have cost almost exactly $15,000 US.
