Kubota makes well engineered machines. Always room for improvement. Hopefully but unlikely they could incorporate a hole and driveline design to better facilitate repairs.

They did improve the hydraulic suction line on the B26 after years of rubber elbow failures.

Do know what year they did that? I have a 2019 and hope to avoid the issue.

June of 2020 is when I found out about the upgrade for my 2016 B26.

Should be easy to tell if it has the new designed line as it’s 4pc from the earlier 2pc.

Might consider upgrading to replace the worm drive hose clamps - yes, those clamps are cheap, easy to spec, easy to put on, and with a wide range of initial clamping ability - so have become a favorite with some designers. But in long term term they cannot flollow so are not as functional as the constant pressure type on the left hand suction line. Hot hydraulic oil stresses everything and hardens the rubbery parts .

Good point. Surprised Kubota didn’t source tension clamps from existing stock. All parts came bagged together. Haven’t seen how new B26s are built.

Finally looked at my B2601 from the bottom. Has NO Ujoint between HST and engine. There's a slip collar connection.
