Yay! You'd be a winner either way. Your duties are certainly within the capabilities of the BX and it sure is nice to have a "little" tractor, I've found.
Example: Just yesterday I was backing my BX into my garage to remove the BH and install the bagger. Of course, I was weaving around my trash cans and was to lazy to move my truck, so I was taking my time. I thought the FEL had cleared the truck in my sweeping turn, but I guess I misjudged a little because before I even knew I was touching anything, the corner of the bucket was dragging along the bumper skin, making very nice scratches and gouges along the way.
Fortunately, the skin is flexible, so the damage wasn't as terrible as it could have been. And the scratches are low, by the license plate. Since the underlying skin is a pale grey and the paint is that gold/tan on the lower portion of the Eddie Bauer trucks, it doesn't jump out at you, either.
Four things I felt as soon as it happened:
1) Boy, you really saved a bunch of time, bonehead. Way to go.
2) Better not tell the wife...I can just blame it on another moron that hit my truck (that Expedition is a MAGNET for folks scraping the bumpers...dunno why...)
3) Sure am happy I didn't have a toothbar...as pretty as yours is...
4) If I'm this stupid with a LITTLE tractor, imagine what I'd screw up with a BIGGER tractor.
And that, in a nutshell, is why I'm so happy with my BX.
