Kubota B2650 (ROPS)
Hello all, New to posting on the site, became a member from reading alot of great post. But now have question of my own.
Just got a new Kubota B2650 with Kubota FEL and Backhoe. Alike the old BX22 I had, there is one hyd hose for the backhoe, and that supply hose gets plugged back in to the return on tractor when BH is removed. My question is this, can that port be used for operating auxiliary hydraulic implements (providing that the proper valves and connectors are mounted). The BH manual states that the port flow is 5 gpm, at a suggested engine speed of 2500 rpm. Can this port be utilized this way, or do I have to get the Auxiliary Kit? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

You could use it only if you do not use the 3-pt hitch at all. A two-line backhoe is making the assumption that the return line goes straight to the tank, and that only happens on a Kubota when the 3-pt valve is not being used.

The proper way to do it on a Kubota is to add your remote/accessory valves before the backhoe, and make sure the valves have their own independent return back to the tank. That way they can be used regardless of what's happening downstream.

Any valve with PB can be used for flow IN, to a new valve, and then continue the flow path so all hoses connect to the proper port.

You want a continuous from pump to tank.

If your BH has only two hoses, then the OUT hose should go to tank. BH77 has two hoses. Don't know if it is a Woods BH

Some folks on TBN have issue with that.

If it is a Woods BH, I checked with the Woods hyd rep and he said the OUT hose of a two hose BH should go to tank.

If the BH is a 3pt mounted with three hose BH valve, the PB from the BH valve would supply the 3pt. The OUT hose will go to tank.

The simple reason that the OUT hose should go to tank is that the OUT port is pressure limited.

Thank you both for replying. The quick response is what makes this a great site.
So here is where I stand, The BH is a BH77 and Yes I did confirm with dealer and understand that the 3pt hitch is off limits while using the sweeper ( same as when BH is attached). So now it is just a matter of getting the correct valves, making up a couple of hoses, connecting to the proper ports, and mounting stack in a convenient place. Will share some photo's when complete.

Thanks again guys!
