2014 Kubota L3940
I had a 2012 Kubota L3940 that I recently sold so I've been on the looks for a new tractor. I have will be using it to maintain my driveway it's pretty long put in about 1 acre of food plot. I will also be doing other things around the property. The l3940 was simply to large tore my yard up with ag tires and so forth. Now I'm stuck do I buy a new B2650 or a used 3033r I just don't want to end up with someone's problem. I'll post the link to the JD

I don't see the JD as being much smaller or tearing up the yard less than the L series. Tires being the only issue. But it's not like the JD is running turf tires either.

I agree, the 3 series JD is bigger than a B series Kubota. I’d look at a 2 series JD.

Is the drawbar missing on the Deere?

JD is bigger than the 2650. FWIW a new 2650 probably isnt much more than that used JD, that alone if we are looking at those two only I would take the Kubota. I have 4 acres, about 400ft of driveway, and honestly probably have mild use and my 2650 is more than what I need.

The 3033R bare tractor weight is 3086.

The B2650 bare tractor weight is 1664.

Your old L3940 bare tractor weight is 3483.

If tearing up the turf is your concern these numbers should settle the question for you.

Awesome I have 8 and a 600 fr drive.

We get 150in of snow a year and have used a walk behind, craftsman rider, and now the Kubota on 400-450ft of driveway. The kubota has by far been the best obviously, but i can tell you with snow im not sure a 150hp tractor would get rid of snow any better. Bigger you go the bigger the blower or blade i guess, and if you push snow bigger is better.

as for the 2650 Kubota has it at 1786lbs. Dealer said my rear filled tires added 300. my front blower weighs 500lbs plus the hook up stuff, so lets say 600, and the cab I have is another factor, Guess that thing weighs probably another 3-500lbs. So im confident all said and done my winter set up weighs over 3k, I have an inclined driveway with R4 tires and have yet to engage 4x4.

No but with a BIGGER (150hp) tractor, you can drive pretty much where you want, not just where you have cleared the snow. It's a nice option to have.

No I get that, just making the point that in terms of snow clearing and snow clearing, they all kind of due it the same, but like you said environmental factors might be different for different folks. But with that said he was concerned about his lawn. And like me I dont want to drive anywhere I want anyways. Sometimes bigger is not better
