B2710 Power steering problem?

MadReferre, I doubt you would ever see the problem since it doesn't get that hot in New Hampshire does it? Probably only a few tractors have the problem anyway. I'm just lucky enough to have one of them.

What do you consider hot? This year has been relatively mild with only a few days where the temp has been over 90 with high humidity. In past summers we have had temps over 100.

I'll wager that it's not so much the air temp that affects the tractor it's most likely the operating temp and the overall ambient temp of the tractor. If I was out bush hogging fields every day my tractor would get hot too. However, 90% of my work has been loader and grading work.

You should to move to New Hampshire. No sales tax, no income tax, decent climate, and as our state motto says, a "Live Free or Die" attitude.

Oooooh! Temps of over 100! Oh my! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Two years ago (to the day, I think, it might have been Sept 10) we had temps here of 114 degrees. It was a rather hot summer.

New Hampshire sounds like a pretty good place to live. Bet the property tax is high though. The government's got to get its money somehow.

My problems were really probably 97 degrees and hotter, which we haven't had a lot of the last couple of years. If its over 100 forget it, I'm going to the house, and A/C.

Property taxes are fairly high but my total tax burden is much less than it would be in other states (for example Mass, Maine, Vermont) where you got to factor in sales and income tax.
