Hi:
I've decided to replace the cracked case on my B-275. I have access to a used case and would like input on this procedure before I begin.
I have the manual sold through YTD which I used to do an in frame overhaul.
Shouldn't be any harder than rebuilding a triple countershaft Mack, but maybe there are shortcuts, hints and caveats from those who have actually been inside one.
What parts may be required, which ones should be replaced while I'm in there?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
I've also posted elsewhere, so i hope repetition doesn't irritat anyone on this forum.
