B2782B only goes up in low rpm

Call me crazy but it seems like my B2782B blower on a B2650 tractor only wants to lift up when the tractor is at low rpm. It will go down at high rpm, but not lift up. Is this normal behavior? Fluid is full, all other parts of the tractor are working fine. Checked connections too. My normal procedure now has been to engage the PTO at low rpm, bring up the rpm, do a pass with the blower, stop the PTO, bring down the rpm, lift the blower, back up and do it all again. Seems to work, but just feels odd.

Strange problem for sure!
Until this gets sorted out,I would change my procedure-lower the RPM's to idle before disengaging the PTO,
Could save some wear on the clutches.

Has a recent hydraulic fluid change just been conducted? Has it always done this?

If I had to start trouble shooting this, I’d clean up a couple drain pans very clean, drain the fluid, change the filters.

I’d look at that fluid very carefully (In a clear lemonade pitcher) before I put it back in the tractor.

It sounds like a clogged filter.
