Well, it finally arrived...B2910,60"mmm, box blade and FEL. Yay! I had an enjoyable experience this morning mowing the lawn (it was wet and the grass was really high). The 2910 did a fine job and was very easy to maneuver around objects without tearing up the turf. The ROPS got in the way of a few tree limbs, but since I can't shrink the tractor, I modified the yard trees to fit with a bow saw. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
I did notice a few things that kinda bugged me that I thought I would discuss here. First, an most importantly, is there a shortage of grease or some import tariff for Kubota? I go to adjust my deck height and realize very quickly that there seems to be no grease on a lot of moving parts down there, specifically the wheels and the adjusting pins. After having to tap them with a small piece of wood to release them, they came out easily. A little grease and that fixed that problem. Also, for the 4 items you have to adjust down there for deck height (thanks for putting that info on the deck, very nice!), why make 3 of them easy (i.e. - no tools) and the last one make me go hunt for the 17mm wrench for the antiscalp wheel on the RH side. Well in any case, the MMM cuts so nice, I have no complaints about anything, just a few recommendations as discussed above.
Will try to get a picture here, but will have to put the FEL and Box Blade back on. She sure is nice and I would like to thank all the suggestions I had found on TBN that guided me to this tractor!
Regards,
Frank
