Could anybody please advise me on meaningful differences between these two models? I am considering buying a used B3030 with cab that is currently available but I noticed on the current thread re cab noise in the B3030 that someone said that this problem had been improved on in the B3000. I already have a B3030 (without cab), and before I 'double-down' and buy a second 3030, I'd like to know if there is enough of an improvement with the B3000 so that I shouldn't buy another 3030 but rather look for a B3000. Thanks

I have a B3000HSDCC, and I am always intrigued when I hear other owners talk about radios, stereos and cell phones in tractors, (also including my 5740HSTC).

I invariable wear ear pro muffs whenever I use either tractor for a number of reasons:

1. Both are way too loud for me to realistically enjoy music or conversation. If the phone rings I have to stop and go to idle.

2. I prefer less "cockpit workload" or distractions: I am always listening to the sound of the apparatus (and the external environment) while operating it. Once one becomes attuned to the normal, small changes can be sometimes detected before they become big change$.

If the improvement in noise from a 3030 to a 3000 is the same as from a 3000 to the 5740, it would make zero difference to me since the muffs go on in either.

The problem with the dust has been improved on the B3000 from what I was told, There is cab noise still but that would not deter me from buying a b3030 it is a great tractor.

Were just fussy after a few years, don't think we are trashing the tractor. I'm very happy with mine in the 5 years I have owned it. I know the rear windows don't open on a b3000, I like to open them on my b3030. Not sure what else is different. Some extra foam for dust , Maybe the chrome stuck on numbers on the hood, they replaced the 3 with a 0- (3030 3000) here is a video of the tractor in use with the radio. Now it's not that bad is it?
