Don't know how it works on a Kubota but on our NH the fuel solenoid is located where I can pull the wires and unscrew it from the injector unit. With the solenoid removed the fuel is ON and it will start (I found this out when we were having start problems that turned out to be a bad fuel solenoid). While running with the solenoid removed it could be possible for oil or fuel to de discharged so I would only do his in an emergency.

Kubota has used Both a fuel "shut Off" And a Fuel "Hold On"...
It's easy to tell the difference if you watch how they work.
Next time you have it running take a picture of the injector pump & solenoid.
Then take the Same picture with it Off,
Compare the pictures and you 'May' see the levers you need to move that 'May' be external to the injector pump. KennyV
