For those that are interested, here is a typical remote hydraulics setup and config. For your information, make sure that you order the right ones for your use and application. First one is standard up and down / open / close (please excuse the likely incorrect hydraulic terms) Once you have the first one, you then have a choice of another of the same, float or detente. Not sure what you would use float for ? but I installed detente since it keeps the line open for a secondary control ie: hydraulic log splitter with its own lever.

Pros of this B3200 setup:
- levers are in a pretty good location for relatively easy access
- you can add more than two if you like once you have the primary lines in ie: 3, 4, etc
the bracket would certainly hold them and you just split the original control and add another

Cons of this setup:
- mounted on ROPS so not as clean as the B3030 single or dual integrated looking configuration
- can't think of anything else at the moment - other than you lose some reflective tape on the ROPS

Hope this makes sense and possibly helpful - here are some pics from different angles.

Red,

Nice looking setup! Just curious if you would mind sharing what it all cost you?

Did you do the install or your dealer?

Hi Stu,

Yes thanks but credit goes to the dealer since they did the work. Pretty good balance between access to handles without hitting your elbow and not sticking out too far to hit trees and such. Came to around $900 for both pieces - base and additional remote with detente which was a little more than a regular one and then install was part of tractor purchase. Not sure if you saw another thread that had an even neater install ie: down lower inside the ROPS smaller unit for holding remotes. Very clean but would be a little more difficult with our B3200's since there are extra lights in that location now that were not on the B7800 originally. Let me know if you would like to see a pic. I have a copy for reference here somewhere. Person did it himself and did a very good job.

Thanks Red!

If you find the other pic that would be great!

I like the type of remote that our M series tractor has...... not sure if that is the detent type or not.....??

Hi Stu,

Here are the pics from that install - front and rear views - credit goes to the owner of that unit. Wonder what the elbow clearance would be compared to the seat back or if either lever had a detente? Hard to tell from either angle but it is nice and compact! The M's do have a nice setup as well - not sure about availability of detente since we do not use that tractor for the log splitter so I have never asked about it.

Thanks Red!

Thats a nice, neat looking setup.

BTW, do you use your B3200 remote for a HYD Top-Link.... if so.... I am curious where you purchased it from, and what length deminsions are?

I bought my M5040 top-link from Carter and Carter, and have been very pleased with it.

Hi Stu,

Haven't found a need for HTL yet. Could see it being useful if you did a lot of box blading or used a scraper blade quite a bit, but I don't use them that often around here. Remotes will be used primarily for snow blower chute rotation (something you likely wouldn't use very often ;-) and for a hydraulic cutting bar I am looking at - detente for running unit and the other remote for angle. Likely a B7800 spec'ed HTL would fit on B3200's ?? What would you use the HTL for on your B3200?
