Hello All,

I am getting ready to possibly pull the trigger on a B3200 w/ FEL. One dealer says he has one still in the crate that he thought he could make a very good deal on. He seemed to think it was a year 2008 but I'm not sure the B3200 was even out at that time ??

Anyhow I'd be interested to know if what would be a good price on this setup.

Also, I have seen some discussion on B3200 vibration issues. I'd appreciate any input from those who have had B3200's for a while (especially those purchased right after the model came out) as to whether this has been an issue for them.

Thanks in advance !

We bought our B2920 in the spring or early summer of 2008 and the B3200 was not out at that time. In the process of deciding, my wife and I each drove 2 times each a BX2350, the B2920, and a B7800. We both noted the vibration in the B7800. Had we have not driven the 3 cyl machines immediately before and after the B7800, we may not have noticed it that much and just assumed it was in all small diesel tractors.

Since you have or had a B7800, I doubt that you would notice much difference in it vs a B3200. If it didn't bother you in the B7800, it is probably not going to bother you in the B3200.

I ride a BMW motorcycle with a horizontally opposed 2 cyl engine (boxer). Even with the balancers it has, it shakes like a wet dog when you start it then settles down, but always has the feel of a boxer engine. I love it and would not switch for the in-line 4 that is smoother.

I had a B3200 for a year and the vibration was not a problem for me. I just traded it to Barlows for a BX25. B3200 with FEL should be bought for around $16500 or my used one with 34 hours for considerably less.

davatk, how much shopping around did you do before you got your offer? I called multiple dealers including some out of state trying to get the best price. I am now waiting for the dealer to get the FEL's in. They have the B3200's in stock but sold out of the FEL's.

From what I found, some local area dealers were eager to deal. Others, well lets just say they stated a price and that was it. Needless to say I went with the local dealer that gave the best deal.

I have had my B3200 TLB for almost a year and have not experienced a vibration issue. That being said when your running any tractor and or attachments there has to be some vibration, It's the nature of the beast. After all it is a tractor, not a Cadillac. I really enjoy my B3200, It never lacks for power, and runs everything from 72" Woods rear Finishing Mower, BB's and the loader is super strong.

Hi John,

Can you answere a few questions about the B3200 that you traded ?

What kind of condition was your tractor in ? Were there any scratches or other areas that may differentiate it from looking "like new". Was it garage kept ? How long did you have it, and was there a reason you got rid of it ?

Reason I'm asking is that I may purchase a B3200 and I believe this is the used one that Brady has referenced a couple of times.

Thanks !

Dave

Hi John,

Can you answere a few questions about the B3200 that you traded ? Yes, yes I can.

What kind of condition was your tractor in ? 34 Hours from new
Were there any scratches or other areas that may differentiate it from looking "like new". I had dented the screen grill but they will probably fix that.
Was it garage kept ? Yes, yes it was.
How long did you have it, About 11 months and was there a reason you got rid of it ? Yes, I didn't need it anymore since my landscaping at home is mostly done and I have a BX2660 FEL MMM at home for my maintaining, a few new projects and mowing. I also traded the B3200 to a BX25 which will be located at my rental property for a business write off.

Reason I'm asking is that I may purchase a B3200 and I believe this is the used one that Brady has referenced a couple of times. It's like new and I traded them a 12" Auger Posthole Digger, 6' Landpride Rear Finish Mower and a Landscape Rake at the same time and Steve Barlow said he hoped to give someone a package deal on all of it and save someone major bucks.
Some people ask me why I trade cars/tractors so often and my usual reply is "I had it for a year".

Thanks !

Dave

Hope this answers your questions and ask if you have anymore. Here's pictures on lot, delivered and going.

Just for information sake, I have not waxed any of my tractors, so far. Not saying I won't one day but I haven't, yet. The mud thing seems to be a problem caused by using them for other than Parades.:D

I'm just saying that by the time your tractor needs to be waxed... you trade it in... ;):) Maybe, it just seems that way to me... I wish I was around when you traded in the L3240 HST... :D

Got new machine today. I love it so far except the pins on the loader. They should have kept it the same way as the b7800. The pins rattle so bad you think the machine is fallin apart.

With your example of the noise of pins rattling and disturbing you I don't disagree but having had a B7800 with their drive in pins that I hated to take off and on vs the ease of taking the pins off and on with the B3200 I had, there's no way to go back. Wrap tape or something around the pins to reduce the noise level and then you can be totally happy.:) There are also some pins that have a rubber coating on the handle part or buy the dip it in cans of rubber coating and dip your rings in the stuff. It warns to not breathe in the rubber coating so hold your breath when you dip.:)

What a nice looking B3200 TLB, congratulations !

The dip in rubber paint does work pretty good. The longer you dip it in for the thicker the coating on the metal will be.
