Dear Orange Friends. Newbie here. WAS a huge Orange fan late 90's early 2000s with 6 for commercial use. Retiring soon and was looking to restart. Research tech needs, width, lift, hp needed. I made a HUGE mistake and did not research "B3350 problems". I purchased a used 2016 with 124hrs. No delivery yet.
My question is, does the purchase of the "fix kit" work ? I understand the issues with doing it from a resell and other concerns, I do, may never sell it anyways.
I do not have time as a contractor for regen every couple of hours. PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW THIS CAN OR WONT WORK. If need be, DM me.

You will need to find out what warranty work has been done on the machine. There is one long time user here on TBN that actually got his B3350 functioning through Kubota, so hopefully he will be along.
My understanding is that Kubota offers a lifetime transferable warranty on the dpf system, but this appears to be via internal bulletin or something similar.
The bad news... 2016 with so little hours it sure sounds like someone has exhausted their efforts on that particular machine.
Best of luck to you, hopefully it works out.

Where did you get this time frame from? Anyways, during regen, just keep doing what you're doing....and no pu$$y footing around...work it

Well, normally I would agree with "work it" However the impliment is design to work a certain speed, so I can't run the dog out of it. Only between 1800-2000 rpm. Yes, the "every couple of ours" comment was a bit wrong on my part, but I am not interested in the tractor doing it while I am crossing a $100,000 putting green doing what i need to do. So I am exploring a work around. But thanks for your comment.

Thanks for your thoughts. Much appreciated. It seems it was not used much by owner for none mechanical issues. Just not used. Now he is selling is little business and building a new home and selling all his equipment. I just hope my idea will work, you understand my idea, which I wont type here..LOL. I havent read any bad info about what I will do. So hoping the solution works. I was wondering if people have done the same in some degree to give me insight. Best wishes my friend.

Well, also keep in mind owners in the south seem to have had less problems than users in the north snow belt. So wherever u r located will have a role?

I haven’t tried the fix kit myself, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Some say it works pretty well, while others still run into issues. It might help to chat with a few people who’ve used it before making a call.

One more question to all. Does the DPF filter just bolt on & off?

^^agree^^ I don't know where the idea of work stoppage during regen came from. The blinking light does not mean break-time or time to sit and play-with-my-phone time.
