What model FEL should I be on the look out for that will be a fit for the B6100? I have been tossing around buying a new garden tractor with blower but I think that I will keep my old 18hp GT with 50" mowing deck, blower, and front plow to use for mowing only and get rid of the blower. Then use the 6100 for snow removal. The 4wd is the biggest thing for me while moving snow. Also I perfer the gear drive over HST just for the simple fact that I can work on it. The price is $4000 for the 6100 with cab and blower. Is that a fair price?

I Have a B6100 also - 1978 vintage. I use it for EVERYTHING. I have the B219 FEL that runs off of a hydraulic pump mounted to the front PTO.
I modified the 4' front blade I had for my old Craftsman GT to attach to the FEL and I use that to plow snow.

This is the only pic I have on my PC here at work - I'll post more later.

GREAT little tractor!!

Cool thanks. I never thought about the garden tractor plow blade. I have one of those as well that I could use. It is larger one that Sears sells as the dozer blade. Good idea!

I have an early 80's B6100. These guys are work horses. It constantly amazes me as to what it will do. Mine has the standard Kubota loader that runs off the motor pump. A loader is a huge plus, I wouldn't use it much if it wasn't for that part. It would be nice to have HST but not a need. I am in the process of adding power steering and will post pics as I go. When the bucket is full the tractor is a handful to steer. If you want to see some pictures of mine just use the search function with my user name in there, I have posted allot of them. Look for the posts with paperclips.

Yes, I got rid of mine for around that price. Didn't have a cab, but did have a few attachments with it (listed in my signature as SOLD). Darn good little tractor it was.

Thank you for the pics! That is an impressive little rig. I did not know that you could mount a back hoe on the B6100. Is that a B670 BH? How much trouble is it to take off the BH and FEL? I am hoping to go look at the tractor tomorrow after I land back in Maine. If I do get it where are the best places to look for loaders and back hoes? Now I am excited I could dig holes everywhere around the yard!!!LOL
