B7100 fan quit spinning

What sort of fuel shut off valve does the tractor have? Is electrical or mechanical? kt

OK, just to make sure I have this clear. I am experiencing the same issue on my 94' B7100HST. I removed the radiator and belt and manually turned the fan/dynamo until it started moving freely again. Based on your discussion I am assuming 1 of the following:
1. Debris somehow got caught up in the dynamo which caused it to freeze up, possible but maybe not likely?
or
2. The bearing has frozen and needs to be replaced, which may be the most likely case I am guessing.
If scenario 1 is true then I will have no further issues, but if not, then my battery will eventually die unless I charge it ever so often or at least put it on my battery maintainer.
It did not take too much effort to get it moving again by hand, so if it was a bearing problem should it have been significantly harder to get it moving again?
At this point can I assume, now that my fan can turn freely, that I should not have to worry about my tractor overheating any more? and that I can continue to use my tractor until I can either replace the dynamo or upgrade it to an alternator?

Don't count on it. As soon as the bearing heats up it may seize again. Without the fan the tractor will overheat.
