Sorry if this is a repeat, will my B7100 handle a 4 ft. bush hog, that weighs 480lbs. ? The manual says to use a 42", is that being conservative or should I try to find a 42" instead of the 48" ? Thanks for the info !

Gunner, I used a 4' Bush Hog Squealer on my B7100 for 4 years. As far as I'm concerned, it was exactly the right size.

Gunner, I use a 4 ft. Land Pride bush hog on my B7100 with no problems at all. I run up and down some fairly good sized hills and occasionally get into some brush and sapling cutting. Like Bird, I think the 4 footer is just the right size for the B7100.

4' bushhog works great on my b7100 also. It's also been known to grind a few stumps(not recommended/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif)

Thanks for the info, much appreciated ! Guess I was worried more about the weight, didn't think 6" would make that much difference in mower size. Didn't I read somewhere that the limit on the 3 pnt. was something like 300lbs.? just thought the bigger deck might be too much weight. Thanks again !
