B7400 - power steering and hydraulic pumping?

I've owned 2 Kubotas without power steering. First was a B6100 and then a B7300. They were both very fine machines and worked well for most tasks, however I store my winters wood inside a barn and for loading I need to move in tight quarters. The power steering on the B2320 makes it so much easier. I was able to sell the B7300 for exactly what I paid for it because it was in excellet shape and had low hours so I didn't lose anything trying it out. But I only had it for four months before I sold it because of the lack of power steering.

TommyZ270,

I finally got some meaningful seat time on my B7610 ( I've had it for about 3 weeks), and I gotta tell you, I LOVE having power steering :D:D:D

I did a few hours of moving dirt with the FEL, and the power steering made it so much nicer.

So, did you decide on a tractor yet? Of course, the hunt is part of the fun. :)

Would anyone happen to know if the 4WD option can be taken off a B7100 and installed on another B7100 and vice-versa? Thanks

Should clarify that question by saying what I'm trying to do. Would like to buy one B7100 that has a loader with no 4WD. The other B7100 has 4WD with no loader. Would like to switch the front ends.

Before I did that, I'd just swap the loader.

The one with the loader is also HST so would like to keep the loader on it.

The HST and non HST B7100's are vastly different machines (the engine is almost the same, but the rest of the drive line is completely different. You won't be able to do what you want to.

Hold out for a 4WD B7100 HST, they're pretty common.

Better yet, if you can get a B1700, or B1750, they both have power steering, and the B1750 has more power (19 or 20HP).

Thanks for the info. Very much appreciated.
