I would not mind having that 5 ft. my 4 foot (originally bought for the B7500) looks like a joke behind my larger tractor.

You need a 6' for that new "other orange" tractor:laughing:

I know, but my mowing needs are very modest, I just barely need a cutter at all to keep some of the brush down a few times a year. I don't have any fields to mow, and I can get along with the 4 ft, it just looks stupid behind a big tractor.:)

We have a 5' one that was made by Central Tractor which I run behind our B7500 and our L3830 (pictures here).
I have run into 2 issues with it:
1. Not enough HP in heavy grass, it does good in light stuff, but when it gets heavy you have to almost crawl (makes the HST on the B7500 come in handy)
2. The mower is heavy enough that you get a "teeter totter" effect when driving. This makes the front end almost come off of the ground when you hit a bump. This would probbaly be lessened with some weight in the bucket, but I haven't tried that

A 4' would look stupid behind the L3400 as well:laughing:

I bought my 5' (Land Pride) cutter from a dealer who sold Kubotas. I had a Deere 670 at the time which had comparable power to the B7500, but the 670 weighed a couple hundred pounds more then a B7500.
I went to look at a 4' cutter initially. The sales person said they sold the 5' units to B7500 owners frequently.
I was skeptical, but the cutter did work well behind the 670, even in very heavy brush (a powerline right of way that hadn't been maintained for years). Most of the brush was as tall as the tractor's cowl, some as tall as the ROPS.

So, I think a 5' cutter will do quite well behind your B7500. There will be areas you'll be going very slow, as one or two of the previous responder's wrote.
Also, when transporting (cutter raised), you really want to watch your turning. What I did (with the 670) was to loosen the top link enough so the cutter's tail wheel bore some of the weight...basically towing the cutter rather then transporting it. Worked for me, but I wouldn't suggest towing more then a few hundred yards.

Maybe if the OP would come down and get my 4 footer KK, I could rustle up a little more scratch and get a proper sized one for my Kioti. LD1, you would pitch in a couple of bucks right??? Just so as I dont' look bad:D

You started looking bad the day you gave away your kubota in lieu of that POS you have now:laughing:

Seriously though, I am running a 6 footer behind my L3400. That is what you should be looking for a good deal on.

keep your eyes on c-list.

OH.. that was bad, really bad.. I tell you what, I will put my Kioti "POS"
up against your L3400DT "POS" in any kind of pushing or pulling contest you want:laughing::laughing::laughing: It will pull that L3400DT backwards. And I didn't just make that up... by the way POS does stand for Point Of Sale right?:D:D Anyway, It is all good,
