When I check the hyd oil When I first pull out dip stick it's dry but after I put it back a pull it out again it shows slightly over full. Is this normal? It checks consistant each time after the fist check so I have been trusting the second check as correct and I have had to add oil a few times. But still I wounder?

Has any one added a better oil cooler to a 7610 or similar? The warning light has never come on but the oil does get hotter than I like to see. Thanks

For what it is worth my tractor does the same thing. Dry the first pull then normal after. I never even look at the stick the first time when checking it now. Clean it off, put the stick it and read it from then is how I do it.

Mine has always done the exact same thing. The only reason I have ever come up with is the tube the dipstick drops into must get air locked, then when you pull the stick, the oil enters the tube. I could be totally off base on the reason why but your dry mystery stick is normal.

I posted on this about two years ago. Same with my B7500 and B7510. I even tried to clean the vent tube. Do the double sticking check now, too. I did color the "safe" area with a black felt tipped permanent marker, too, and it makes reading the level a whole bunch easier. The marker hasn't come off in a year, either. Try it. You'll like it.

I have a B7510 and noticed the same thing. Thanks for alleviating my fears that there was a problem. I'll do the dip stick double take for now on!
