I am waiting on my B7800, fel and backhoe to come in. It was ordered 11-01-04. Dealer checked the computer today and said he was waiting for it to be shipped. This will be the forth Kubota I have had. Loved them all. I can still haggle price, but am at $20,853 delivered. How does that sound? My last was a B7500, fel, bh, but was stolen. If you find one for sale cheep, it may be mine.

You might want to check your state law, some will give you an allowance on tax if you are replacing a tractor due to theft or other occurance covered by insurance.

Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
If dealer is charging close to $6000 for a Kubota BH. That should be a good price.
Have you checked this site for B series tractor prices. Click Here.

In Maryland where everything is high, Kubota's are not. They are aggressive in their pricing here and I'm guessing they are outselling the others by more margin than most areas. The 7800 with FEL and BH I was initially quoted was about 350.00 higher than your quote when I was looking at the 7800 and the 3130. Based on the movement I got from the dealer on the final 3130 quote..guessing here as the reduction on the 7800 would have been less and I didn't work them on that model... I'd say that would be a reasonable Maryland quote. They probably don't have more than another say 500.00 to go, and may not have that, depending on the dealers circumstance. It's a good price. I may try them once more if you are working with the initial quote numbers, but I'd also buy it at the number you are sitting on.

Good luck with your purchase!

Keep in mind that I am cheap. I learned a long time ago if I admitted that up front, it saves a lot of hassel. I didn't mention the fel is a 402, the bh is the 4690 and he will put fluid in rear tires. This is the second tractor I have gotten from him. I gave 17,000 for the 7500, fel and bh. He has the best price of the four dealers with in 100 miles of me. Due to price increase, my insuracne considered the price of the 7500 to be 17,300. Good of them.

I have been unsucessful in trying to find a used tractor w/BH,(trying real hard to find a B21)so I thought I would get a quote on a new tractor from my local dealer. Thinking maybe it won't be to far from what I am willing to spend on a used one. WRONG! I was quoted ......................................$24,900. So it looks like you got a pretty good deal, unless there is something that I am missing.(maybe I am getting gold plated teeth on my bucket, better recheck my quote) The only difference was they quoted mine with a woods bh7500 instead of the Kubota 4690. How can these quotes be so different?

I don't claim to be an expert, but would check other dealers in the area if there are any. I enjoy the process because it gives me an excuse to look at a lot of different dealers and equipment. How far could you haul it if you could save a thousand dollars? Kubota lists thier dealers if you will put your zip code in and give a range in miles. I prefer to by new as I am afread I will buy someonw else's problem. I have had enough of that in the past.

I think the 21 has a heavy duty loader and stronger frame, although they are a 21 horse. I would suggest you ask your dealer for a quote on a B7510, also a 21 horse. with fel and bh, then you can compare. If there is too much diffenence, ask him to explain. If he is someone who wants to deal with you, I would think he would be happy to do so. If he cannot or will not, you may not want to deal with him.

I don't think this would be a fair comparison. HP wise I guess so. But the B21 is larger than the B7510, actually quite similar in size to the B7800/B2910/B3030.

One would really have to compare the B21 to the B7800 size machine to get a rough capability comparison from what I can see. All the time keeping in mind that the B21 is a lot more heavy duty... but for non business use the heavy duty side may not necessarily be an advantage, all things considered.
