That answers my question.

Indeed a very nice looking piece of machined work. That's actually not a bad price for the spacer, all considered.

Thank You...

I got a 900 lbs BH on the back of my 7800, six inches don't sound like much but I think I would be nervous at the possible additional stress on the axle. Thank god I got level land! That is sweet looking though!

I could be wrong but from my understanding if you extend the hubs by a few inches, you're not stressing your axles anymore. Are you? The added stress would be on the hub and it's made of solid steel held in place with 6 large bolts.

It's been a few years since physics class. Anyone know for sure?

Just flip the front wheels on a 7800. It adds several inches to the track, and makes it easy to install winter chains, which I need in upstate NY.

Thanks for that suggestion.I am going to flip my frint wheels today and add front tire chains this winter. I think it will make a huge difference in my forest work and trail snow clearing work come winter

It is a very good idea, we use spacers on ATVs and it they works great and the stability so much.

Adding spacers will increase the bending stress in the axle at the differential due to the increased length of the lever arm. There should be no increase in the shear stress in the axle.
For what it's worth, I make living as a structural engineer.

Kubota makes a spacer kit that add 1.5" to each side. The kit used to be priced at @ $242. The part number is B8785. This kit fits B2710, B2910, B7800, B2630, B3030.

3" total can make a substantial difference in stability.

I put Kubota's kit on my 3030, and the added stability is very noticeable. I wish they only charged me $242 though.........

I could not find the part #B8785 at tractorsmart.com.
I did find part#70000-60112 and was $195.
I'm not sure if that is a kit or one spacer?
Probably one spacer as parts keep getting higher and higher.
I have a B2710 and have often considered adding the spacers for better stability. I added fluid to the rear tires - about half full - and that helped a lot. I have turf tires and they are 'bouncy'. Adding fluid dampened the bounce.

Was that $250 each (times two for one on each side...$500), or per each pair? i.e. each one, or each pair? Any still available?
