I just talked to the dealer and he said that he has the chains on with no spacers and they don't hit the inside wheel well. So I'm not sure what to do . I supose I will leave them the way they are and go with the dealer. What would everyone do?

The problem is only there if you have Turf tires on the B2910/7800. The turf tires are wider than the R4s. Spacers are necessary with turf tires.

I have R4s on my B2910 and have chains on them in the rear. No spacers. There is enough clearance, but not a lot extra.

Since you mentioned you are getting R4 industrial tires, you will be in the same situation I am.

I've attached a photo that shows my industrial tires with chains plus some mud... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a 2910 with Titan Turfs. Will there be a chain clearance problem with these tires or does the clearance discussion apply to the older more squared off (Firestone type) Turfs?

Can you recommend a good set of rear chains for this set up which has worked for you? Thanks for your help, snow will be here before we know it

Recent owners of B27-B2910's and B7800 have had problems with chain clearance with turf tires. The part # for the spacer is 70000-60112. If you need a set, PM me. I know where there is a set.
I have never used my chains for snow removal. With the proper weight front an rear my B2910 has never had a problem.
Others have posted about steep drives and drop offs that required chains.
Ice will also require chains.
I got my chains from TireChains.Com. They seem to have the best prices.
I purchased the 4 Link ladder chains for my Turf tires. Depending on your needs you may want 2-link ladder chains.
