Here's "The Kernel" at just over a year. It was touch and go on whether he'd stay in the pasture or the freezer at first but now, his favorite things in the world are feed time and belly rub time. He's probably about 200 pounds now, my Duroc that's a month younger is about 300 and the Hampshire we got about 8 months ago is 370ish, I think she's about 1.5. It's amazing how different the domestic pigs look compared to him. IMG_20181227_164728410.jpegIMG_20181227_164339096.jpeg

They all get along pretty well. He grew up with the Duroc and the Hamp was a show pig so she's super friendly. The domestics are my breeder sows. He was castrated when he was still little but, he still tries to help out. It looks like he's walking in a ditch when he tries to mount them.

I've got a young Mulefoot boar in another pasture for use later. Right now, I'm doing AI. He'll probably think the babies are his since he's the only male in that pasture.
