Eddie,
You can't make this stuff up:laughing: Someone was looking out for Oscar and the fact that you missed your pig and worried about him means you're a good person. That seems to be rare these days. I think you and I would make good neighbors  By the way...I told Maxwell about it and he seemed relieved, he's out there eating as I type this and he said to tell Oscar to behave himself.

Tell Maxwell that Oscar and I both appreciate his concern. Good to know that you are talking to him and understand what he says. I was a little worried that I was the only one who did this!!!

That last thumbnail makes Oscar look almost the size of a cow.

Once I clicked on it, it was normal, but the small size one is sure deceptive.

I toof four pictures of him. I didn't want to wake him and risk missing the shot. I kept getting closer and closer to make sure you could see that he is sound asleep. I deleted the other pictures because he looks too small in them!!!

As for his weight. I thought that having him in the back of my truck would be the perfect time to weigh him. I drove to my roll up door, raised it, and placed my scale real close to my tail gate. I got Oscar out of the cage, and was able to pick him up real easy. Then I stood on the scale and realized that when holding a good sized pig, I COULD NOT SEE MY FEET!!!!!!!!!!

Great idea, but impossible to do without a helper. I have a vet that said she'd come over to cut oscar and fix his tusks. She might come on Sunday, or some day next week. She is going to put him out, then stitch him up after she's done. She said that the large intestine on hogs is right there, and if he's not stitched up, it might come out. She will help me with figuring out what he weighs. She also told me that she wouldnt be suprised if he grew taller and got up to 700 pounds.

That suprised me. That's A LOT OF PIG!!!!!

That's a smart move getting him cut and those tusks removed.

On another note, the Henderson Tractor show is April 15 & 16.

Oscar to jail! That's a hoot. You gotta get him a striped suit with a # on the chest.

Eddie, you'll need to get him his own heavy duty couch to lay on. Like Arnold Ziffle in the Green Acres show.

His resume is growing. Bootlicker, Shoelace untier, Prisoner.

Eddie,
Oscar's antics are a hoot and a half. I just turned on the TV and Second Hand Lions is on. They have a pet pig that runs loose with the dogs!
hugs, Brandi
