I took this picture Monday morning. Oscar sleeps most of the day and night. The only times you see him moving around is when he's going from one sleeping area to another, or when it's feeding time.

Oscar reminds me of my son's cat. All Socks wants to do is eat and sleep.

Thank you. Sadly, Luna passed away a few years ago. She was a sweet cat that we still miss.

They say that cats are only awake long enough to do the things necessary to get back to sleep. Maybe Oscar is the same!

So I've been in the mid east for the past six months, and haven't been active on rural living. I just popped in to see what's new and first thing I thought of was "I wonder how Oscar is doing?" Checked the thread and see there hasn't been any activity in a while. Almost scared to ask....how is Oscar doing?

Thank you for asking. Oscar is doing good. With the colder temps, he's been more active and spending more time out in the big pasture with the horses and goats, but sleep is still his favorite thing to do. I took this picture a little over a week ago.

I just took this one of Oscar this morning. He creates beds all over the place, and after it rains, they turn into mud holes that he really enjoys. This is the first time that I was able to get a picture of him in his glory with an audience!!!
