somehow I've gotten into the habit of watching 60s Dragnet or Adam 12 while having brekky. Seen them to often so now I'm into the 50s Dragnet. I'm liking it.

I may have said it earlier in this thread, but I've really grown to appreciate the sheer stupidity that is Green Acres. I was always a fan of MASH, All in the Family, and even Andy Griffith, but Green Acres has become a more recent mindless pleasure.

Highway Patrol is pretty good and I exercise to it. Dragnet is OK until the series evolved into a social commentary. The very early Dragnet from the '50's is a little grainy but a great show.

Peter Gunn is also worth watching but it's only on early Monday mornings.

If I can't get to sleep, I try to find Dragnet on TV. Jack Webb's voice puts me to sleep every time.

If Green Acres comes on I wake back up to watch Lisa (Eva Gabor).

Watching The Dick Van Dyke Show tonight. I always liked him (he is still kicking in his late 90s). I always respected Mary Tyler Moore, however she reminded me of a school teacher.

Mary Ann never reminded me of a school teacher.

The first few seasons of Leave It To Beaver were pretty good but as Beaver got older the show lost it cuteness appeal. His friend Larry Mondello was a favorite.

I would always watch Wanted Dead or Alive .
About a year ago I found it, tried to watch the first season but wasn’t what I remembered 😢

What's neat about watching these old shows is seeing the actors that got their start in one of those shows. Clint Eastwood comes to mind as a non-hoodlum motorcycle club member on Highway patrol. He looked about age 21 and baby-faced.

I've mentioned before in this or another thread, seeing Roy Clark appear as "cousin Roy" on the Beverly Hillbillies, before going on to costar Hee Haw.
Even then he was a talented entertainer.
