First; I don't think you can make compound valve movements with the same valve handle, but I do using two separate handles/functions. BIGGKIDD has a LW-7 on the CTOA site and he shows where he cut out the X's with a hole saw (nice job too), but I didn't hear any feedback on how it works.

Yes, you would have to cut out the 'X' to be able to use the joysticks
properly. That is my point and that is why no other hoes do it that
way. If you can not feather one of the sticks to operate both valves
simultaneously, then you are missing out on an important capability.

I understand exactly what you mean, but being an open centered system with no hold, it's not likely to work. If you take a good comparative look at the Chinese valve operators, you wouldn't want to compromise an already precarious arrangement of dubious quality. I understand that these machines are not Caterpillar quality, and treat them accordingly.

I does work, but it takes practice. Valve quality is important. Working
with only one pump does have its limitations, but feathering one of the
valves causes a certain amount of back-pressure that allows the circuit
doing more work to get some flow. I was able to do this with my old
home-built CADDigger that had Prince stack valves and no joy sticks. It
is easier with my current Prairie Dog that has some unbranded Bulgarian
valves WITH joysticks. I find that larger balls on the tips of the joysticks
help, too.

The BH does not have the same valve operator gates as the 6-way dozer blade, on which I can do compound movements simultaneously. Oh well, no big deal. I'm used to it, and it pays by the hour anyway.
