I hadn't thought about rollover. It makes sense that the cab wouldn't handle the extra weight. Axle strength just didn't seem like it should make that much difference. I wonder if that has anything to do with the recommendation on my BX22? It seems the folding ROPS would not be as strong as a solid one would be.

Aah hah, now that makes more sense. That is understandable. The ROPS or cab rollover weight limit.
