Does anyone know if there is a backhoe available for a 4110? If so, has anyone had any experience with it?/

There is a backhoe available. It is the same (46) that attaches to the 4115. It is pretty impressive.

There are a number of people on the board who have the 46 BH on the 4110, including me. It's a perfect combination -- just the right size and power. Do you have a question in particular?

I guess my main question is how powerful is it? Is there any problems digging into most landscapes? I was thinking of digging a small pond and am wondering if a backhoe this size would suffice?

Also, does it run off of the PTO or the hydraulics? I have an FEL hooked up to my hydraulics.

I have the 46BH on my 4115 and it is the same hoe you would put on a 4110. For the size I am impressed, currently I am using mine for digging out stumps on the property we are clearing. Time is not an issue with us and I am sure it is taking me a bunch of time more than if I would have picked up a used Case etc. but I am sure having a lot of fun! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

That would be John Deere.

It will work fine for any sort of landscaping around the house, digging out stumps, transplanting bushes, trenching and the like. As for a pond, that depends on how big a pond you mean.

It runs off a power beyond setup which is basically two hoses run to the rear of the tractor. This connection is separate from your FEL. Having the backhoe hooked up has no affect on your FEL operation. The back hoe weighs about 700 pounds so it's very good ballast too.

Thats what I get for not checking their site. I swear I looked for John Deere backhoe for the 4110 a while back and I couldn't find anything, but it is there now.

Next question is: Roughly what do they cost?
