( I guess my main question is how powerful is it? Is there any problems digging into most landscapes? I was thinking of digging a small pond and am wondering if a backhoe this size would suffice?
Also, does it run off of the PTO or the hydraulics? I have an FEL hooked up to my hydraulics. )
It will work fine for any sort of landscaping around the house, digging out stumps, transplanting bushes, trenching and the like. As for a pond, that depends on how big a pond you mean.
It runs off a power beyond setup which is basically two hoses run to the rear of the tractor. This connection is separate from your FEL. Having the backhoe hooked up has no affect on your FEL operation. The back hoe weighs about 700 pounds so it's very good ballast too.
