Looking for information on building a backhoe subframe for my tractor. I have a la301 front end loader. Would love to have some pictures of how it hooks up. I do not know where to attach at the rear of the tractor. Also looking for a good used backhoe for my tractor. jwb nonnerby@mchsi.com

I am working on the same info mself for my Kub 2150. I saw one nicely detailed a couple years ago on a personal website, but it is gone. The hoe was a Bush Hog going on an NH. The BushHog subframe was basically 2 pieces of channel or box steel that ran up near the front of the tractor and were tied together with a cross brace. The top of the channel had a 3 sided pocket on it that flared out a little bit to make hook up easier. they hooked to some flat steel tractor-frame-mounted brackets using round pins like a trailer hitch insert would use. The back of the channel also had some upwards brackets on it with a horizontal slot that was open on the tractor facing side in them. These slid onto some pins that were part of a bracket that was bolted into the rear end. Not hard to make, but the devil is in the details for each individual tractor as to the exact mounting arrangement. good luck.

Thanks for the information Marty. I also remember seeing a site a few years ago that had the information, but have been unable to find it any more. You are right the difficult part is the detail for the rear of the tractor to support the subframe. With my loader i have the cross brace, and the support in the front of the tractor. just need the info on the rest of the subframe.

Here is a picture I saved off that site for the rear attach, maybe it will help. Credit goes to the owner, not me.

Marty thanks alot for the picture, seems like there are several out there that found it interesting too, since several have down loaded the picture. Hopefully more people will post there pictures too, to help me and others build a subframe. I found it interesting that the picture showed the tractor without rops, which my friend says means it is a gray market tractor. Doesnt matter, for the subframe. If you or any others have any more pictures please post for all of us to view. Your picture was great. Thanks for all of your help. I hope to have pictures my self to post at some time. jwb

I got what your looking for!!! I bought a subframe for my Woods 650 BH to hook up to a B1700. I searched for months for a picture or diagram to build one my self. Even tried calling all the dealers and the manufacturer, no luck.. I bought one and have the picture from within the owners manual. As soon as I can I'll post it if you still need it...
