kioti ck35
Got a new ck35 with a kb2485 hoe an frame. This is 1 size bigger than normal but dealer said would work fine as it weighs only 35 ils. more than 2475. My question is when putting down outriggers they do not lift rear tires off ground. Is this normal or are cylinder too short???
Thanks

Hi, i have a KB2475 on my CK30 and the outriggers don't lift the rear tires off the ground. I have bigfoot pads on the outriggers, this is a must. To lift the tires off the ground i lift the tractor with the boom then set the outriggers down. Hope this helps.

I have the older model KB2375 on my CK30hst and the outriggers will lift the tires off the ground. When I first bought the bh, I thought that was how you set it up just like the bigger dedicated loader/bh machines. After some reading, Kioti suggests lowering the bucket on the ground to stabilyze the front, setting the brake on the tractor and not lifting the tires but use the outriggers to stabilyze the rear. This has always worked well for me.

+10 Do NOT lift tires off the ground or you will run in danger of splitting your tractor.

If you put the bucket down to the ground and then try to lift the tractor with the backhoe outriggers, you are lifting the whole weight of the tractor on the bucket and the two outriggers, none of the tires would be on the ground. Not good as Murphy says.

As others have said, don't lift your tires off the ground. However, you should be able to do so. If you cannot on level ground, something doesn't sound right to me.

I want to thank everyone for the reply's but I can't get it in my head as to why The outriggers won't lift tires. it's like they are to short. Dealer says to put 3 ---4 inch angle iron plates on the pads about 8 inches and one the opposite way to stabilize but I guess I'm old school. I'm afraid hoe may be too big for ck35???????

I would think the bigger hoe would have longer outriggers???

Maybe it just doesnt have the force to lift your tractor. Are your tires loaded???

Have you tried lifting the rear of the tractor with the hoe itself? To see if the outriggers really are out of travel, or just lacking force? Or try some blocks of wood under a pad?

I agree that it isnt good practice to lift the rear, but you at least need to be able to for when working on uneven ground and you need to level up

I have the same Hoe and I can lift my loaded tires off the ground a good 4 inches at least. How does he have your hoe hooked up?
