Backhoe Backhoe work for tree stumps??

What do you guys do with the root ball after its' out of the hole? If you don't burry it somewhere else, how do you remove all the dirt that clings to it so you can burn it?

I have removed all the dirt & burned some, and i have also took some small ones with the dirt still on down to the river bank....and dig a hole to put them back in the ground, and some have grew back & others didn't...I like to have a lot of trees on the river bank.

I had 4 real large popular root balls that i pulled down to the river, and rolled them in the water to use as a fish attractor....and that worked out great for the bass & crappie, but it was a job to get them in place....I wrapped a cable around them & let them down the hill so they wouldn't go far out in the water....and get washed down stream.

They have been in place for over four years.
