Backhoe Backhoe

I wanted/needed(a considerable use for), a frame mount backhoe versus a 3 pt hookup backhoe. I turned to Woods Equipment out of Oregon, IL to see if they could do something to help me out. They realized long before my inquiry that Mahindra was a leader in the import tractor "race" and they were willing to help me out if I could bring my tractor down to them for an agreed period of time and use my tractor as a template for the 4500 series. They fitted the 9000 backhoe mated to a CAD created mounting attachment. This is an awesome and solid "groundbreaking" backhoe that does not have to take a backseat to anything else on the market. No backhoe can upseat dynamite in rock but this "buster" comes darn close. I've used it, beat it, and it has been awesome. I'm not an employee, investor, or a relative of anyone associcated with Wood's, and get no residuals. If you are serious - look at this one.

Would love to see pics, yours is 2wd? or 4wd?. If 4wd why not go with the Mahindra/Bradco? Bradco hoes on the 4wd make a real nice combo, which are the factroy branded backhoe, but would love to see pics of the woods set up on a Mahindra.

I had every intention of taking a few snapshots of the new backhoe while it was still shiny and new. I keep it stored in a building on my land which is a few miles up the road. I'll be there this weekend and I'll get some pictures and then try to figure out how to get them uploaded to this site. In answer to your question as to why Wood's versus Bradco......I don't have a good answer. One of the reasons I purchased my 4500 FWD was because of the 11gpm onboard hydraulic pump that would satisfy any of the accesories I might purchase. Wood's installed this unit for me and in the testing process found out that the pump was indeed adequate but the reservoir wasn't big enough to handle the backhoe's needs. I was forced to add the aux pto pump with its' own reservoir
