Maybe instead towing, make it moveable either FEL pallet forks or 3pt forks or carry all.
I doubt he dedicates the tractor to generator use and leaves it connected 100% of the time.Do you people even read his posts?
He plainly stated this generator is P.T.O. powered & he wants it to REMAIN hooked up to the tractor PTO.
How many of you have PTO access from the front of your tractors or the FEL's ????
Nope, I much prefer it to be trailered. Handy and more portable. At times I have used mine by just backing up to and connecting the PTO shaft not even bothering with the one hitch pin.Mount it on a 3-pt. platform and junk the trailer! Would make it much handier!
Is the OP using a 2 wheel trailer or a 4 wheel trailer?I have one of those little generator trailers (using it for a sprayer), and it can indeed be tricky to to back up.
Hook two of them up and I can't even go three feet in a straight line.View attachment 839270

Your skills with a pull trailer are very impressive, I think. I sure couldn't park it in such close quarters. Part of that is probably that I only use mine a couple of times per year. The only trouble now is when I hook up a boat trailer, which should be dead-easy to back around, I get my brain double-crossed again by the pull trailer!
Sometimes using the mirrors is the only option. That's funny, as I know what you mean, but I'm the dead-opposite. I learned to back up looking behind me, and while I can do it with only mirrors if I have to, it's not nearly as easy for me.
