I have a 2024 badboy 3026 and ever since I bought it the loader bucket more or less just drops when I try to lower it slowly and also the bucket bleeds down faster than other tractors I have had. I told the dealer, he came got it and said nothing is wrong but I know that's not right,, I went back and talked with him again and his answer was to rev it up to about 2500 , he said it has to run fast to work right, I think he's full of beans with that answer, do any of you have any input to this problem? thanks, Vernon

Some valves meter better than others and also have less spool leakage which slows loader drift. Revving tractor won’t help lowering speed at all.
I have been looking for a good metering 5 GPM loader valve for years with no luck. Most are rated for around 12 GPM and the little CUTs are usually 5 GPM or less so slight lever movement makes big flow change.

Can you get Galtech valves in the US? They have a 6 GPM valve, with 1/4" work ports.

Regarding your loader leak down. It is best to know what the actual leak-down rate is instead of "it seems too fast". Raise the loader and measure how many inches it falls in a 15-minute time frame. Measure at the bucket lip with the bottom of the bucket parallel to the ground. There are other more precise tests, but this at least will get you a real number to go by.

I gave never seen Galtech here in the US but will do a little snooping to see if they show any distribution or sales here.
Is Galtech and Walvoil the same company?
If yes the only walvoil I found did not have load checks.

I looked on Ebay, they are available there but most are from overseas.
Thank you to all you fellas, I am gonna try to get the dealer to buy it back since it only has 20 hours on it and some of those were on it when I bought it,, as I told him,, I didn't buy it to load gravel, I needed it to help load heavy items.. He's gonna come here and "show me" how to use it... lol... then we will see. thanks again to all who replied.
