Good looking labs.
Got to love the dogs, even when they misbehave. Loss is always hard to take, just as bad as loosing a human.
YES, when we lost Jazz it was a terrible shock and we both cried. We knew she had high blood sugar, but I had decided not to put her through testing every day and insulin shots. She went in to get some fluid by IV and just passed over night - at least she was sedated and had no pain. Our little girl was happy and digging at mole trails until just before we took her in for the IV - we expected to bring her home in the morning and that did not happen. I know we will see her again - Heaven can't be Heaven without dogs !
New girl is an escape artist. Except she escapes IN. Gate on back deck barley slowed her down. It's about 4 inches off the ramp, didn't take her long to figure out she could get under it. Wired a few horse shoes across the bottom, no discouragement there.
Most dogs are much smarter than some people give them credit for !
Giving up on renaming her. She has Riley well ingrained.
