Bad mouthing a Kioti?

I'd take a Kia anyday over a caddy-LACK. Kioti doesn't need some moronic car comparison; it stands on it's own, and basically thrashes the supposed competition. End of story.

There's your first mistake...you bought a FORD (no offense) but I've been A Chevy guy since 1965 and the Corvair Monza...one brief interlude to a Dodge Charger (1970) loved that beast...but can't take the man out of his Silverado.....no sir ;-)

A Chevy half ton couldn't tow my equipment and i thought it was common knowledge that GMC versions are nicer than Chevys. Worse, after way too many come-backs for the same problem, I quickly grew tired to telling GM techs how to do their job, a thing I have not needed to do with Ford, Mercedes, or Infiniti techs.

However, in difference to the service experience at GM dealerships: the issue as I perceived it, was the shop foreman did not have a formal technical background but were business majors who, at the end of the day, did not know what best practices are in the industry and their shops' culture reflected their lack of experience and knowledge leading to for customer experiences.

I was born and bred a Ford guy, when in 1977 I bought my 4th Ford product, my brand new F-250 4X4 developed piston slap at 14,000 miles and Ford gave me $250 or so towards it, that was my last Ford, up until August 2014
The last 4 GM 4X4s have not faired a lot better, and honestly the whole GM bailout still leaves me with a bad taste.
So like I said, August 2014 I bought my first new F-150

We all have crosses we must bear my friend. ;) I never owned a Chevy that didn't run like a champ until it was time to trade one in for another. I take it back, I did own a Full Sized Bronco for about 6 months, it spent more time at the shop than I did driving it. Some people like chocolate ice cream, I prefer vanilla with a drizzle of Hershey's syrup.

I understand the bailout issue, I was trying to keep anything political or likely to sound political out of a great forum :)

It's all good as long as the vehicle serves it's master well, yes?

I traded in a perfectly good 2005 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 for a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 LTZ Package in May. It's got buttons I've yet to push for fear something will eject me or an equal catastrophic event will occur (I really need to read the manual). Seriously, this thing has more bells and whistles than some small planes I've been in.......I've managed 2580 carefree miles, mainly to and from the feed store, a few veterinary visits and one 230 mile round trip to see a doctor for a 10 minute office visit. I think I've spent more time on my Kioti then in the truck...

When the time come for me to get a new tractor I looked at everything. I wanted to Good dealer support I had been on my own with all my old used tractors but after investing $20.000 I wanted a good network support..... I like all brands but I went with jd because they were closer to me.

I went shopping for my first new tractor, and found lots of friendly folks at Kubota/New Holland, Case, and Kioti dealerships. The Case salesman actually said "I can't see how anyone can knock Kioti - my parents bought one new 25 years ago, and it's never had a problem!". He even knew the Kioti salesman by name, and endorsed the quality of their 75-year old, family-owned and run dealership. All three dealers steered me away from HST for my steep terrain. All offered a home demo.

Then there was the largest dealer in town. Acres of green tractors, and a salesman who was in charge of compact tractors. He didn't know squat about his own tractors, but was pitching wildly as soon as we started looking. I asked to see a 30-35 hp gear drive, and he took me straight to a rental return that he assured me would be a great buy. It was a 3032E. Strike one: HST. Strike two: He didn't know the difference. Strike three: He had no idea what the price was. Promised to get back to me when he found out. Never called.

In the meantime, the Kioti salesman located exactly the tractor I wanted, and gave me a great deal.

You sound like me when I go truck shopping. I stay with Chevy because the local dealership has a salesman that really Goes above and beyond for me. When I shop that blue oval or that Ram, they don't seem to be near as helpful or as friendly....they act like typical car salesman whereas the Chevy guy treats you the same if you buy from him or don't or even after the sale when you're in for a service. Enjoy that new tractor!

My GMC was in the shop for some warranty work and I was walking the neighbourhood, so I went into the Dodge dealer to investigate the new little Diesel. It was sad, because the kid that sold Hondas at a sister dealership a week ago didn't know squat and what he did say was the exact oposite of what his sales manager told me a few minutes later.

But is that so strange? In this day and age. Heard a Jeep ad on the radio and the main focus was that it had blue tooth and USB!

Products and marketing for a very dumbed down population.
