Are you saying that in my case I do need to maintain the factory positioning. Keeping the gearbox input parallel with the tractor output?

I thought about hitting up a drive shaft shop to see if they can build me a new shaft/yoke setup. If they can do it would it be beneficial to use CV joints instead of U Joints? Just thinking out loud here.
