Thanks for all of the replies.

Right now, it's only one bale every few weeks. Lift off trailer, put in pasture. Horses, not cattle. The head count is absolutely going to increase, so I do foresee eventually buying and storing round bales. Right now, we just buy one at a time, drag the empty trailer down to the mr hay, and he loads the bale on. I could easily carry a bale through the pasture gate(s), or drag the trailer out into the pasture and push the bale off (the current method, done with bucket and lots of wiggling around next to the trailer. Somethin's gonna gent bent eventually, and it won't be the tractor:D

I like the combo unit you linked to Jinman, and am already a loyal customer of Everything Attachments. But I am leaning toward a proper front spear, and proper rear unit. Of course, it won't be long before I need the pallet forks, right after I get the disc harrow; then there's the big box blade I'll need for......:D

Good one ... or Hay spear and Pallet Forks Combo ... I like mine. Same frame uses either the forks or the spear.

Where did you get that setup, if you don't mind me asking?
