Balist Box and new 3 point reciever hitch

Chris- great job...but now it's time to get a little dirt on her. HE HE HE!
You got me thinking now...I've been holding off on the ballast box, but now I've got a bit of an idea to mount a 2" receiver hitch into the ballast box. Then adapt a subsoiler to it, sort of like kennyd's. Me thinks that weight cannot only provide traction but downforce on the attachment at the same time.

gunmaker , That sounds like a great idea, ;)
Dont forget to put some cast iron pipe in for some work tools.
and be sure to use portland. it is as heavy as all sin.....:D
I have a good subsoiler. i just take all the scarfers out of the box blade but the middle one. ;) Weigh of the box blade will put it in the ground...:)
And i do get my tractor dirty. I just wash it alot.....:p

Chris......:)

You won't need the weight to to provide downforce, as the angle of the scarifier pulls it down into the ground easily. The increased traction would be a benefit though...
