As I stated in my original post,the 1/2" plate is the only material I was allowed to take. IT WAS FREE!

I would not mud them welds I would make everyone who came over to my house take a look at them. Awesome job on the fabrication..

Really, be proud of them welds and leave them as is.

this is great the box should work well , I would put a piece of square stock on the bottom to be a reciever to slip a hitch in and to keep it up along to allow to pivet while hooking up .I tend to move things quickly with my forks.
