FYI, here is a picture of my kubota ballast box which is a little different than those pictured here. No lift pins on mine just a simple bar.

That is interesting. I guess if my lift pins get damaged, and it becomes clear it is too difficult to repair and/or replace, I can fabricate a lift pin setup like that. Never thought about simply relocating the pins. Guess it pays to "think outside the box"... Buh Dum Ching

Another thing I forgot to mention is with this design I don't need to get off the tractor once I have the bar in place. I can easily drop the ballast box when not needed and simply back up and lift her up when needed never having to get off the tractor.
