Well Bob, you need to remember that if your tractor is only 2wd it means the front axle wont be as stong and therefore less weight should be added to the front and more to the back, I would also take into consideration what ground surfaces you are dealing with and how often wheelslip occures, if you add to much weight to the front (particually with supersteer) the tyres will tend to scrub up the land and also cause excessive tyre wear resulting in more $$$$$$$ !!! My advice to you is to ask the dealer to add ballast and then add more if need be. Another option is to use a ' pick-up-hitch' instead of the drawbar as this will put the weight of the implement further over the back- axle and increase traction. Choose your tyres carefully, I recomend tyres with a curved groove ( agricultural) as it is well proven that these provide more grip over tyres with a straight groove. HAVE FUN.
