Barlows - always a good bet?

Welcome to the forum. Barlow's is a real Kubota Dealer and their service is great, as I have purchased a Grand L3540 from Brady & Steve Barlow along with other implements,( three point snow blower, back blade, quick attach forks). This was my third Kubota the first two were from a local dealer and I have 4 or 5 Kubota Dealers within 25 miles of me. Brady gave me the best and fairest deal which surpassed my local dealer who didn't even want to take my B3200 TLB in trade with 50 hours in excellent condition even though I purchased it from him. When purchasing rear implement's from Barlow's there were times I was not home to accept delivery and spoke to Brady about this, he replied, not to worry driver will leave implement where ever I want and when ever I get home (traveling RV) I could call and pay him. Now that's a gentleman and to me that's what service is about. As others before me have said, try your local dealers but I'd make a call to Barlow's and price out what your looking to buy. Best of luck to you.

I think most people buy new unseen from on line purchases and Barlows sells used (my trade ins and other peoples trade ins plus they buy used tractors) and most used purchases on line are unseen from Barlows or other on line sellers.
The IRS has nothing to do with the tax issue, it's the local State sales or use tax.

Yes your correct? I wad using I IRS referencing State tax. But i didnt wamt any problems so i will problably will pay. They must be busy at Barlows. It sounds like they are selling seval tractors this year. They sound like genuinely nice people. I really like to support my local vendors but with difference in price its hard to ablige them

my experience with Barlows when I was shopping was they were slow to respond to email messages. I marked it up to a southern thing. Never the less they have a very good reputation here and deserve it from what I have read.

Ask them or any dealer for any "new Old stock" units that may fit your needs for a greater savings....thats how I ended up with a new 2008 L5740, purchased sept 2011. when I was shopping for a L440 or Mx5100 new

Hi,

I jus wanted to weigh-in on Barlow's. I have traded with Brady on two different occasions (currently have an L3400 that he traded me into). Great tractor! Excellent customer service-before,during and after the deal!
I have been working with both Brady and Steve about another deal and I recommend them to anyone.
Just my opinion, but I will continue to be a loyal cumtomer.

I'm sure everyone has their favorite dealer, and they received the best deal. I have purchased many Kubota's, I always check prices with all Kubota Dealer's including Barlow's, and not once did they come up with a price that made the deal. My last purchase came from Messicks on a Tractor and Zero Turn and the delivered to my door, almost 3hrs one way. I cannot say enought about Messicks, I purchase all my parts from them, parts department is super, the guys go the extra mile to be sure the part is correct and arrives in a timely fashion.

Wow, what a lot of post here. I too have bought from Barlow's matter of fact, I bought Develdogs Used B3200 with fifty hours, which now has almost two hundred. Yes its a southern thing not to get in no hurry, and that's just fine with me. PS Brady give me a call, need to up grade to a L3800 TLB. On second though, I'll give you a call latter, no hurry, probably looking to do this after the new year now.
