Interesting post as I thought of going with OSB for the ceiling in my garage but now am having second thoughts.
Jim, can you let me know what you end up doing and post pics if you can? The steel ceiling sounds interesting but a lot more expensive than OSB.
Menards (and most big siding supply companies) sells the interior panels for $.60 to $.70 per square foot. That seems like a good bit more than OSB but remember it comes prefinished (no painting). A white ceiling makes a lot of difference in work space lighting. Plus, as noted, you need less structure to fasten it to. I, for one, would not welcome the effort of installing OSB overhead.
