So I've decided to use 4x6 posts, but not sure if I should just burry them, or if I should use concrete piers in the ground to attach the posts to, as was suggested to me before. Any thoughts/suggestions. I'm thinking the concrete piers would be best. Even though I'm not planning on keeping a WHOLE lot up there. It will be a 10' x 20' loft. I might keep at most 30-40 bales of hay/stray up there at any one time. Thanks everyone!
