I have a Kubota L5030 tractor with a factory cab. The A/C does not put out enough cool air on sunny & 90+ degree days. After 2 or 3 hours of cutting or baling hay I need to work with the doors open. Over the past 4 years I have broken 3 doors from getting too close to this or that. My own fault I know. I'm getting tired of replacing doors and from what I've read so our a lot of others out there. My question is: Does anyone out there know where I can get some kind of after market door (1 or 2 piece and/or hard or soft sided) that will work on my Kubota L5030 tractor?

I don't know anything about after market doors, but I'd be more concerned with getting that A/C working right. I remember years ago when a fellow in my area had a new Kubota that was overheating a bit while baling hay one Sunday while the dealer was closed so he took the tractor to a mechanic in the area. The mechanic washed the debris from the front of the tractor that was blocking the radiator; problem solved.

Some people tint the windows to help with the sun. Have you had your AC serviced to see if its operating good. If you go the tint route use a quality tint stops the heat.

Clean radiator,condenser & evaporator, check refrigerant using gauges and keep doors closed.

I thank those that have given me suggestions on checking the A/C and tinting the windows. I have checked and cleaned the A/C and it will freeze you out of the cab when the temp is below 90 and the sky is cloudy, as far as the tinting goes, I have thought about that, however I sometimes bale at night and also clean the drive of snow at night. I thought that a window tinting that would do the job would cause a problem while working in the dark. The only thing left was to look for an after market door with removable windows. Does anyone know of any companies that might make and sell one?

Thought about using a template and a glass cutter to remove section that's lets say 9x9. You could use a piece of plexi as a sliding cover. You would have to build a frame for it to slide in and some stops to hold it. If you are decided on this that could be a lower cost way to go.
