Dirt Moving Basic daily maintenance

If you haven't already checked this, make sure you check your front axle fluid very soon. Don't wait until the 50hr maintenance to do this. Most smaller models will be low on axle fluid within the first 10 hrs of use since all the fluid finds it's way in the nooks and crannies of both axle housings. Don't be surprised if it doesn't register on the dip stick and be a quart low, it's common. Top it off with SUDT and you will be fine.

I hear this all the time..Guess my dealer did an outstanding prep. Mine has been full from delivery. Both the BX and the RTV were set up perfectly. In fact, when I bought my BX, they had a multitude of new tractors in final prep with the fel and stabilizers holding up the machine to check for leaks and leakdown. Pretty thorough I think.

The delivery guy offered at least 3 times to go over every machine that I bought from them. I didn't take him up on it, but he sure did try. That's the way every delivery should be done.

My 3PH came in a box too..The BH was installed. No big deal assembling it. Kind of a pain to install though.

Glad to hear that you didn't have this same issue. In my case, the front axle fluid was at the full mark during delivery but at the 10 hour mark, I had to put another quart in to fill it back up.

Mine was also low, but thanks to this site I checked it early on to prevent any damage.

Just a quiet head's up. When you dump your front axle yourself, you will likely experience the same thing. I don't pound on the dealer too hard about the BX front axle level going low in a month. Same thing happens when you change it yourself. I know of no way to actually fill it the first time. Shrug.

I have changed mine twice now....how true!!
